Grassroots is the foundation, not the consolation prize.
A strong base of small-dollar donors is what makes major-donor and grant work credible. We build grassroots programs that grow the list, deepen engagement, and turn one-time givers into recurring supporters.
Community-driven campaigns
Engaging local communities and specific groups to drive awareness, support, and action. Direct outreach, local events, partnerships with community leaders, and social media engagement that builds long-term trust and loyalty.
Small dollar donor (SDD) campaigns
Raising funds by encouraging a large number of supporters to make small contributions. Digital platforms, email, and social media to reach a broad audience, building a base that demonstrates widespread support and creates collective impact.
Event-based grassroots fundraising
Local and community-driven events that raise money while building engagement: charity walks, auctions, neighborhood gatherings. Inclusive, approachable fundraising that builds connection between supporters and cause.
Grants are a marathon, not a hopeful one-off.
A real grant program is researched, calendared, and tailored, not blasted out as boilerplate. We help you find the right funders, write applications that actually compete, and never miss a deadline.
Grant research & identification
Finding grant opportunities by exploring foundations, government agencies, and corporate funders aligned with your mission. Eligibility analysis, funding priority research, and past-grantee review to build a viable target list.
Grant application development
Writing and submitting detailed, persuasive proposals that meet each funder's guidelines. Project objectives, expected outcomes, budget, and alignment with funder priorities: clear, organized, tailored, and accountable.
Grant calendar management
Tracking application deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal opportunities so nothing slips. Stay proactive, plan ahead, and never miss a window that affects your funding pipeline.
Major donors are relationships, not transactions.
The highest-value gifts come from the deepest relationships. We help you identify prospects, cultivate them with intention, and build a long-term engagement model that turns major givers into lifelong partners.
Major donor prospecting
Strategic identification of individuals with the capacity and inclination to make substantial contributions. Research, data-driven analysis, and a tailored outreach plan that builds a pipeline of mission-aligned high-value supporters.
Donor cultivation
Fostering meaningful relationships with high-capacity donors through personalized engagement: one-on-one interactions, exclusive events, targeted communications. Deepens connection, demonstrates impact, aligns interests.
Communication plans
Comprehensive plans that keep major donors regularly informed and emotionally invested. Strategic mix of channels and personalized content that reinforces their decision to support, and lays the groundwork for future giving.
Gift solicitation
Presenting major donors with compelling opportunities to support your mission. Tailored proposals, well-prepared meetings, and specific, well-reasoned asks aligned to each donor's capacity and interests.
Recognition programs
Acknowledging major donors in ways that resonate with their preferences: naming opportunities, publication acknowledgments, exclusive events. Honors past contributions while cultivating ongoing partnership.
Common questions.
Do you work with political campaigns and PACs?
Yes. Campaigns, PACs, advocacy groups, and 501(c)(4)s are a meaningful part of our book. We're FEC-compliant and familiar with the reporting requirements that come with political fundraising.
How do you price fundraising engagements?
Monthly retainers for ongoing program management, fixed-fee for grant-writing or major-donor stand-up projects, and (where appropriate and legal) hybrid arrangements for political work. We'll scope honestly based on the organization, the goals, and the timeline.
Will you write our grant applications, or coach our team to?
Either. Some clients hand us the keys; others want us to train their development staff while we handle the highest-stakes applications ourselves. We can mix the two over the course of an engagement.
What CRM do you recommend?
It depends on your size and stage. Little Green Light for smaller orgs; Raiser's Edge NXT for established development programs; sometimes HubSpot for organizations that want fundraising and marketing in one platform. We'll recommend based on what your team will actually use.
