lemme build ur website
hi. im mockingbiird.
small digital agencystudio doing brand, websites, and ads.
since 2019. senior people only. no bait and switch.
what i do
- brand. positioning, identity, messaging. the part where you stop looking like every other business.
- websites. sites, email, automation. the stuff that runs when no one’s watching.
- ads that actually make money. google, meta, programmatic, paid social. managed like it’s my own money.
- fundraising. grassroots, grants, major donor. mostly for the nonprofits and political orgs.
- public relations. media, crisis, reputation. for when it matters and for when it goes sideways.
- cyber risk. risk, compliance, security. boring right up until it isn’t.
who i work with
- small businesses.
- nonprofits.
- political orgs.
- startups.
who u actually get
it’s two of us. that’s the whole company.
- tian. marketing brain. brand, content, social, outbound, fundraising, pr. the part that makes the site get found and the phone ring.
- matt. security brain. the it, the infrastructure, the part that keeps your site fast and not breached.
no account managers. no handoffs. no junior person you never met on the kickoff call. we scope the work, do the work, and answer for the work.
how im different
- senior people only. no bait and switch.
- same-day email replies.
- no deck theater. just the work.
- clean output. every week. for years.
how this goes
- you email. a real human reads it, same day.
- we figure out what you’re actually trying to fix.
- the person you met is the person doing it.
- then output. every week. every year.
slack, email, phone, whatever you already use. you talk to the people doing the work, not somebody assigned to manage you.
where im at
akron, ohio. i work with people all over, but if you’re local you can buy me a coffee and we can talk about it like normal humans.
how long ive been doing this
started may 2019. two friends from northeast ohio doing real marketing and web work for people who couldn’t afford to get burned by a big agency. same two people ever since.
since then we’ve run marketing at startups, led security operations at a global logistics tech company, directed communications for political campaigns, and worked inside a new york venture studio. all of it comes back here.
free stuff. no gates.
- a 30-question marketing audit that scores itself.
- a cac calculator that tells you if the math works.
- 50 questions to ask before you hire anyone. me included.
- the akron marketing guide. long, but actually useful.
ppl have said things
“answered my email in like 2 hours??” a pleasantly surprised founder
“quite profitable, actually.” a real human client
“no deck theater. 10/10.” a small business owner
“tian did the thing and it was good.” someone, probably
ok. should we do this?
i promise ill reply.
